Good work - Fortune Green SNT

Good afternoon,

The Team at Fortune Green, Safer Neighbourhood's have carried out the following in this month of May to give a summary of our efforts and local Policing news in the area.

Numerous patrols have been carried out with a variety of high visibility and plain clothes patrols in Maygrove Peace Park NW6, where there have been complaints of anti social behaviour and drugs usage, stop and searches have been carried out with drugs seized and appropriate action taken.

Stolen mopeds have been recovered and reunited with their owners, where recently the Team came across an abandoned moped that was stolen and found in the area of Wayne Kirkum Way NW6. 

Weapons Sweeps with the Kilburn, Safer Neighbourhood's Team and the Volunteer, Police Cadets were carried out in Kilburn Grange Park NW6 , where a knife was found and  seized in the bushes area by the observant Police Cadets, which was discarded accordingly.

Arrests  - A Male was arrested with assistance of the Fortune Green, Safer Neighbourhood's Team, for motor vehicle offences in the area of NW2 and a Female was also arrested for Failure to appear at court and other offenders for various offences were arrested as part of  Facial recognition operations in the Kilburn High Road area.

The Team have also carried out Community Contact Sessions at West Hampstead Community Centre, with thanks to them we joined there community lunch hub, where local Policing matters were discussed such as concerns of vehicles involved in Anti Social Behaviour in the NW2 area, this has been logged with intelligence gathered and targeted patrols carried out. Met Engage was also promoted with new sign ups now added.
